AB-065  Celestite & Sulfur

Machow, Tarnobzreg, Poland

7 x 3.4 x 3.3 cm.

A nest of absolutely gemmy, honey-brown Celestite crystals. The matrix attached to both ends of this specimen give it a vug-like appearance. Throw in a smattering of spherical Sulfur and you get a specimen with good contrast that displays extremely well.

AB-009  Adamite

Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico

4.5 x 3.6 x 3.2 cm.

Here's an old timer which was found in the 1960's. it came from a hoard that had been stashed away and forgotten. Only to be rediscoverd in the mid 1990's. Ojuela Mine Adamites have long been prized by collectors for their color, lusture & robust fluorescence. Adamites of this size are almost never found at this location anymore.

AB-066  Pyrite in Septarian nodule

Volga River, Ulyanovsk, Russia

7.5 x 8.5 x 5 cm.

These irridescent Pyrite nodules were quite popular during the short time that they were available in the mid 1990's. Put one of these in your mineral cabinet and it will add a lot of pizazz to your collection. Almost all of these that were offered were not hemispherical in shape, but rather were just chunks of clay with pyrite on them. I think that this can be attributed to the fact that the internal fracturing and the hardness of the nodule were not conducive to splitting them cleanly in half. There is a small section on the left portion of the specimen that I suspect may be repaired but in no way diminishes the beauty of this specimen. Taking that into account I have decided to let this one go at a very low price.

AB-018  Pyromorphite

Gui Lin, Guang Xi Province, China

4 x 2.9 x 2 cm.

Good Chinese pyromorphites are getting harder and harder to find now that this location has been exhausted. An aesthetic specimen such as this will surely go up in value as time goes by. Here is a chance to own a modern classic at an affordable price. Take advantage of this opportunity while you can. These Chinese Pyro's never stay very long on my website.

AB-027  Copper

Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona

5.9 x 3.1 x 2.6 cm.

An attractive nest of crystallized Copper from
one of Arizona's classic mineral localities.

AB-043  Azurite

Touissit, Morocco

3 x 2.8 x 1.3 cm.

An absolute killer Azurite from a classic location. Remember when Azurite from Morocco was quite common? These days collectors are hard-pressed to find an Azurite of any decent quality from Morocco. The only factor keeping this stunning small miniature under $100+ is the fact that it took a nose dive off of it's mount when I was photographing it & bounced off of my tripod sustaining a tiny ding on the left portion of the termination. Which by the way is barely noticeable.

AB-020  Vanadinite

Mibladen, Morocco

5.8 4.6 x 3.1 cm.

A better than average example of Vanadinite. The production of these is mind-boggling. It's like that rabbit from the battery commercial, it keeps going and going and going...

AB-034  Calcite

Southwest Mine, Bisbee, Cochise County, AZ

5.8 x 5.2 x 3.5 cm.

A cluster of slightly curved Calcite rhombohedrons, some with green needle-like inclusions. This specimen looks far better in person and would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
