Q-099  Smoky Quartz with Aegerine inlusions  $35
(Double Terminated)

Mt Malosa, Zomba, Chilwa Alkaline Area, Malawi

7.3 x 4.5 x 2.7 cm.

An extremely lustrous double terminated Smoky Quartz Crystal with multiple Aegerine crystals included within it.  I backlit the specimen just a little to try and emphasize this, but the camera wouldn't pick them up.  This specimen looks much better in person and has only one small imperfection on the termination.

S-011  Scheelite  $240  SOLD

Ping Wu, Sichuan province, China

6 x 6.5 x 6.5

A big chatoyant crystal with concave crystal faces. This crystal is contacted on the bottom. The termination of the crystal looks a little rough, but I believe it is not damaged.  This crystal fluoresces blue.  The Ping Wu mine has now been closed, so the availability of these fine Scheelites will only become even scarcer.
